Graphite materials for high-temperature applications

In this paper, physical properties of graphite materials are described and analyzed from the perspective of their use in high-temperature applications. Key physical properties of graphite parts that are used in vacuum-furnace heat treatment are described. Graphite itself has however its limitations and these will be discussed as well.
